The REA is holding a member meeting to discuss the Consultation on the Introduction of Fixed Priced Certificates (FPCs) into the RO, from 2027 onwards.

We want to canvass views in relation to our intended response, which the REA is currently drafting.

The consultation considers:

• Potential FPC models featuring a central payment and settlement counterparty.
• Frequency and sequencing of FPC issuing, obligation setting, and settlement
• Pricing arrangements
• When FPCs should be introduced.
