SEPA’s Environmental Authorisations (Scotland) Regulations 2018 Consultation Analysis

The Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) consulted on their proposed changes to the Environmental Authorisations (Scotland) Regulations 2018 (EASR) in January 2024, receiving 63 responses. Read REA’s response here.

They recently published their analysis of the consultation responses. The proposed changes received support with 83.7% of respondents agreeing with the proposals overall and 82.5% of respondents agreeing with proposed changes to waste management authorisations.
