Join us for a members discussion which will help form the REA’s response to the consultation on UK ETS scope expansion – CCS: non-pipeline transport of carbon dioxide. The consultation closes on 23 January 2025 and has a total of 19 questions. The purpose of the consultation is to seek views on:

• ETS NPT regulatory framework
• accounting for NPT transport emissions
• shipping and multiport journeys
• intermediate CO2 storage facilities and CO2 mixing
• interactions between our proposed NPT policy and greenhouse gas removals (GGRs)
