Member feedback sought on IGEM consultation on new gas quality standard
The Institution of Gas Engineers and Managers (IGEM) has been working on a new Standard for Gas Quality. Once this standard has been consulted on and finalised, a formal process set by the HSE will be followed that will result in in a formal, legal change to the specifications currently contained in GS(M)R. After that, it would be proposed to revoke and amend the relevant parts of GS(M)R, with the new specifications being contained in an IGEM Standard.
