Scottish consultation on storage of organic materials to protect river basins

This consultation closes on the 13th April 2021. 

The Scottish government has published a consultation inviting stakeholders to respond to a range of proposed updates to The Water Environment (Controlled Activities) (Scotland) Regulations 2011 (“CAR”). This consultation is part of the Scottish delivery of river basin management plans and includes proposed updates to control the storage and application of organic materials including slurry, silage, and digestate.
