This year’s Awards, would have been the 16th edition marking the 20th Anniversary of the REA. Launched in 2006 to recognise the brilliant work of those striving for energy system change – ‘the Game Changers’ – who pushed against the status quo and helped build the industry we have today and that will be the springboard for the UK’s drive for Net Zero by 2050.

This year’s event on the morning of Wednesday, 21-07-21, will take a look back at the fabulous finalists from across the years – our industry’s game changers. We can do what we do now because we’re “standing on the shoulders of giants”.

The event will then see the launch of REview, the REA’s ‘state of the industry annual report’, followed by a panel discussion offering a look into what the future may hold with senior representatives from organisations sharing their thoughts.

For a hard-working, highly committed industry, that’s faced more than its fair share of challenges in the UK, this is our time for reflection. So we hope that you’ll join us and get involved and celebrate the achievements of companies and individuals who have done most to advance renewable energy and associated clean technology over the past 15 years as we honour ‘the Game Changers’.
