Decentralised Energy Forum
The REA will be holding its first decentralised energy forum meeting where we will kickstart the discussion on how to accelerate the decentralised energy sector and carve out initial workstreams for the forum.
The Decentralised Energy forum will be a key driving force in the sector for further influencing important policy areas crucial to removing the barriers to the deployment of clean decentralised energy systems in residential and commercial properties. The forum will also look to push for more comprehensive polices that enable the connections between onsite generation, energy storage, EV charging, and clean heating systems and heat networks.
Additionally, we have also produced an internal working paper on the “Route to Clean Decentralised Energy” that we will be reassessing at the meeting with our members to help produce clear policy proposals that we can push for on the behalf of the Decentralised Energy Forum and our members.
