The REA is hosting a joint industry meeting on Thursday, the 1st of August at 2 PM to discuss the draft Quality Protocols for Compost and Anaerobic Digestate. This is a joint event with ADBA, CIWM, ESA, REAL, NFU, and UROC.

The compost and digestate Quality Protocols have been undergoing revision for some time. The revised documents are now called ‘Resource Frameworks.’ The Environment Agency (EA) has released draft versions of both. While the EA is not conducting a consultation on the documents, they have allowed the REA and other organisations to gather feedback from industry and submit suggested edits.
