Eaton, Foresight Group, and the REA will be launching the Energy Transition Readiness Index 2023 (ETRI 2023) report at 10:00 on Wednesday 8th November. We would like to invite you to join us and learn more about the development of European electricity flexibility market over the past year.

This report assesses the readiness of 14 European countries for the energy transition, from the perspective of investors, looking at flexibility services that support deployment of renewable power and decarbonisation.

The ETRI 2023 study updates the ranking of thirteen European countries (UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Poland, France, Italy, Spain, and Switzerland) to measure progress over the last year. For the first time, this year’s report will also cover the electricity flexibility market in Greece. The report describes some of the key electricity market characteristics for each country, assessing the current and future need for flexible power resources, and examining how the US Inflation Reduction Act and the EU’s Green Deal Industrial Plan has affected the investment landscape across European countries.

The event will be hosted at Foresight Group’s London office in their Events Hall, The Shard, 32 London Bridge St, London, SE1 9SG. The launch is from 10 am to 11am, and we ask attendees to arrive from 9:30. The speakers on our panel are:
