Severn Trent is hosting a site visit for REA members on the 6th September in Finham, Coventry.

Severn Trent are kindly hosting a member meeting followed by an opportunity to tour their Finham Sewage Treatment works. The site contains a newly built thermal hydrolysis plant, as well as an anaerobic digestion facility and biosolids cake bays. Read more about their advanced digestion scheme here.

The day will begin at 10:00 AM with tea and coffee at the Severn Trent Academy followed by a member meeting with a few short presentations on REA activities, policy and regulatory updates, and an overview of the site. The 1-hour tour of their Finham Sewage Treatment Works site will follow.

Bringing and wearing your own personal protective equipment (PPE) is critical. Each attendee must bring and wear steel toe capped boots, a high visibility jacket, hard hat, gloves, eye protection, and ear protection to participate in the tour.
