REA Organics is running 2 x 2-hour online training course on the 24th and 25th of September from 10:00-12:00 each day focused on the requirements of PAS 110, the AD Quality Protocol and the Biofertiliser Certification Scheme (BCS) Rules requirements.

This course targets AD operators and will be useful for anyone who is:
• responsible for monitoring and controlling the AD process;
• responsible for digestate preparation;
• responsible for dispatching/selling digestate;
• responsible for the PAS 110 quality management system;
• carrying out inspections on input material deliveries;
• consulting companies interested in joining BCS;
• interested in understanding the detailed requirements of PAS 110 and BCS.

The course includes:
• The principles and requirements of PAS 110
• Customer requirements
• Quality management systems
• HACCP – hazard recognition and minimisation, setting critical control points and critical limits
• Dealing with non-conforming batches
• Hazard recognition and minimisation, setting critical control points and critical limits
• Input materials and pasteurisation requirements
• Record keeping and traceability
• Sampling, lab analysis, and what to do in the event of a test failure
• The AD Quality Protocol
• Storage, labelling, and dispatch
• The REAL Biofertiliser Certification Scheme (BCS) rules and requirements
