REA comments on Climate Assembly report
Dr Nina Skorupska CBE FEI, Chief Executive at the REA said:
“This report, and the wider citizens assembly, is an exceptional piece of work that further consolidates a lot of what we already know: the public are not just willing but are eager to make a Net Zero UK a reality.
“As an advisor, I can testify to the extraordinary work that went into this process. These recommendations are well thought out, carefully considered and accurately capture the views of the public. In the interests of the public and meeting our legally binding Net Zero targets it is crucial that the Government take these recommendations alongside those of the CCC’s and those of our members and begin implementing them.”
