Defra is consulting on “the Waste Prevention Programme for England: Towards a Resource Efficient Economy.” This consultation closes on 10 June 2021.

The Waste Prevention Programme (WPP) for England sets out priorities for actions to manage the UK’s resources and waste in accordance with the waste hierarchy. The WPP outlines the potential for, and benefits of, action on waste prevention, what industry is already doing and could do, as well as setting out actions for Government.
