Whilst the Duty of care requirements have been in place for many years, this document describes in practical terms how they apply to organic waste collections. These cover the obligations of a waste holder to prevent a breach of an environmental permit or breach of a permit condition. It may be useful to consider when discussing any changes to contracts in light of changes to permits.
