Ofgem consult on draft guidance on Non-Tariff Guarantee Extension Applications

In August 2020, Government announced intention to provide Covid-19 related support to ND RHI projects that fall below the tariff guarantee thresholds. Eligible applicants will be able to submit an ‘Extension Application’ in the final month of the scheme (March 2021), affording them an additional 12 months to commission if they are able to demonstrate delays directly related to Covid-19 with specified evidence.

Ofgem has now published draft guidance for review and comment by the industry on how the extension applications are to be administered. The deadline for comments is the 17th February.
