On 21st of April, Trevor Hutchings represented the REA on BBC Breakfast.

Trevor explained how consumers can benefit from a ‘net zero dividend’ on their energy bills by decoupling the price of renewable electricity from the volatility of international gas markets. While the UK currently relies on countries like China for certain renewable technologies and transition minerals, this dependence can be reduced over time by adopting a circular economy approach where those critical materials are recycled here in the UK.
